Singapore has built a solid and reliable reputation as hub for growth for Swedish companies in the APAC region. Singapore was once a nodal point between the advanced and developed worlds, but today is a leading nation in many economic and development areas. This position has seen Singapore become a natural home for the Swedish business community in Asia Pacific, supplying the latest technology and expertise required to bring about
continuous change and drive competitiveness.

As a natural stepping-stone into the wider region, Singapore has attracted every range and size of Swedish companies; from small- to medium-sized enterprises, to large corporations, and ever-increasingly, technology-savvy
start-ups – a business community now totaling over 250 companies.

Singapore is the road to recovery from the pandemic, but the journey will largely depend on the global economic recovery. But the signs are promising; Singapore and the Swedish business community that call it home, are well-positioned to venture into a new normal.

The Business Climate Survey is produced on a bi-annual basis by Team Sweden, a joint initiative where Business Sweden collaborates with Sweden’s local embassies, consulates and chambers of commerce around the world, among other stakeholders.

The survey provides first-hand perspectives and insights into business trends, issues and challenges in global markets based on extensive interviews with Swedish companies operating in each respective country.
